Kochi Lemongrass Essential Oil also known as Malabar or East Indian Lemongrass belongs to the family Poaceae. The botanical name of this herbaceous plant is Cymbopogon flexuosus.

Fragrance of lemongrass essential oil is citrusy, fresh and slightly herbaceous and blends well with oils of similar smell and also with those that have minty, spicy and woodsy aroma. Lemongrass has been used in traditional medicines for its antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to relieve pain, fever and stomach ailments.

NATURAL PAIN RELIEVER – Lemongrass essential oil has Eugenol, a chemical constituent that helps relieve pain. Gargling your mouth with water infused with lemongrass oil is known to improve dental hygiene and bring down pain caused due to gum inflammation.

NATURAL ROOM FRESHENER – The fragrance of lemongrass is citrusy and herbaceous. Spritzing lemongrass infused water can freshen up a room. THe aroma is therapeutic and helps relax.
